Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga is a safe and effective way to exercise during pregnancy. It can help alleviate common ailments associated with pregnancy such as low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, SI joint pain, upper back pain, shoulder tightness and neck pain. It can facilitate mental clarity and reduce stress that often accompanies big life changes and can help prepare a woman's body for labor and delivery.
Vini Yoga
Vini Yoga is a type of Hatha yoga performed one-on-one with an instructor. It is restorative and therapeutic, and is based essentially on the individual's breath. Many postural imbalances are caused by restrictions in the breath and vice versa. This style of yoga is based on the premise that the energy in the body is more balanced if the breath is more balanced. By improving breathing, you improve posture, develop a sense of being centered and improve overall energy.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
TDN is a technique used to treat active trigger points and deep muscle tension called motor banding in muscles that have been injured. Post injury, muscles often shorten and become sensitized at or near the injury site. Untreated this area of shortening can become a trigger point or an area of motorbanding commonly known as a knot. TDN utilizes a traditional acupuncture needle to release the muscular banding.
SolaJet “Drywave” Massage
About the size of a daybed, the SolaJet features a traveling water jet that delivers powerful, soothing streams of warm water along your entire body to massage out tension, stress and soreness. “DRYWAVE massage” means you remain dry, separated from the water by a thin, flexible barrier allowing you to experience the warmth and pleasure of a relaxing deep tissue massage.
